I agree in that Treyarch has totally dropped the ball in BO1 and BO2. I personally think they nailed it with World At War. The maps on W@W were a decent size. Allowing you to spawn and choose from two or more engagements.
With these tiny-ass maps they're coming out with now, it's no different then the video games I find in shopping malls. You know, the ones with the red plastic guns that you point at the screen and shoot. That's what BO2 reminds me of.
Now, seeing VENGEANCE, I realize - again - more tiny-ass maps are coming. No creativity anymore. Just cramped, clusterfuck maps, turning COD into a crack habit instead of a thinking man's game which is what it used to be.
They should do what Battlefield allows. The player can join or create a squad, so when they spawn they can either spawn normally, or spawn near a teammate. Is it so hard to create this in COD? This way, people who want to go right to the action, by spawning near a teammate, can do this. And people who want to choose where they can go, can just spawn normally. It would make the game more fun in my opinion.
